So you are not technically from the South...right?
Long story short, I was born in Massachusetts, but I grew up in Georgia (north of Atlanta). But now as an adult, I have lived in a few different states.
We will claim ya! What brings you to Auburn?
My husband is getting his PhD in Kinesiology at Auburn University.
So it sounds like your family is fitness conscience. What is your background?
I recently graduated with my Master’s in Exercise Science and have a sports medicine and personal training background. I have been a dancer my whole life and teach dance here in Auburn. And I’ve been happily married for 3 years.
Well you are just a perfect fit for True40. We are excited to see how your background is reflected into your classes. Can you share with us some advice you always heed?
Things happen for a reason—My mom. This has helped me to let go of anxiety of the things I can’t control.
How about health related advice?
Remember to not only exercise your body but your mind, and never skip a meal!
Self reflection is so important. As is nutrition! So when you travel, what do you pack?
More than I ever usually need, and I plan for everything. Oh, and my dogs!
What can people always rely on you to have at all times?
A Smile and Band-Aids!

One more thing...how do you love your body well and stay true to you?
Stay positive with self encouragement. I love me because I am the only me out there.
