So, tell me about True40… what are you all about?
True40 is an uplifting studio that provides a comprehensive workout suited for all ages and fitness levels! Our classes are unique in that they provide various kinds of exercise into one 60-minute workout, all low-impact, with a focus on core strengthening. We promise you a different class every time you come to keep your muscles guessing! It is a community that we’ve created where you feel empowered and revived up on taking a class, and encouraged and welcomed the second you walk in the door. While each True40 class has the same setup and design, the specific exercises targeting different areas of the body will vary. Our True40 instructors each bring a different energy and personality to the workout!
If I’m a beginner, will I be able to keep up in a True40 class?
True40 is meant for all fitness levels, body types and ages! Our workouts are designed to be low-impact, with no jumping and minimal stress on your joints. Our instructors are trained to give variations and modifications to meet your specific needs.
If I have an injury, can I still participate in one of your workouts?
We advise that you consult with your doctor first to make sure fitness is an appropriate step in your recovery. Please inform the instructor of your injury before class and she will assist you with modifications. Listen to your body!
What should I wear?
We suggest comfortable workout clothes, something you can stretch and bend in. To maintain a clean studio, we require clients to wear sticky socks, which are available for purchase in the studio. Our studio boutique also offers active wear from several lines.
Is it okay to take a class multiple times a week?
The national recommendation for exercise states that for major health benefits, perform at least 2 hours and 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity each week and include muscle-strengthening activities 2 or more days a week. True40 workouts are low-impact and are safe for every day. We recommend 3-4 classes a week, but the more you come, the faster you will see results!
I am a soon-to-be momma…is True40 safe for pregnant women?
Classes are safe for those who are pregnant, but we encourage conversations with your physician to ensure that fitness is the next best step for you. Throughout the class, your instructor will offer modifications. If something doesn't feel right, listen to your body, and ask an instructor for further clarification. We encourage the same for women postpartum!
How will True40 change my body?
What we hear most from our clients is that after consistently taking True40 classes they sleep better, feel less stressed, have better posture, feel more energized and lessen the symptoms of any injuries/ailments. True40 classes will also lengthen and tone your muscles, give you an energy boost and make you feel confident and comfortable in your own body. You will notice an increase in strength in your legs, arms and core, tightening and lift in your glutes, and also improvement in your overall posture and balance.
I hear you have childcare. Tell me more!
We offer childcare for a small additional fee. True40 employees all hold CPR certification, and our childcare staff has experience with children of all ages. We welcome children ages 6 weeks to 10 years old. In the studio's play space, your child can play with toys, puzzles, read, and do homework. For the safety of your little one, we limit childcare capacity to five children per class. Check the schedule online for childcare classes and registration (please register in advance).

If you want to try True40, check out our class schedule for a time that best works for you. Be sure to arrive 15 minutes before class to complete registration. Our instructors will be waiting to get you set up and answer any questions you still have!
