Apple cider vinegar is a workhorse house-hold item and we are loving these innovative ways to maximize its use in your home! We love not only taking care of our bodies through physical activity but focusing on what we put into our bodies as well. Apple cider vinegar has the ability to detox the body and improve digestion. By using it the right way, experts say belly-fat, bloating and indigestion are no match for ACV. Apple cider vinegar is different from other health trends because it has been used medicinally for thousands of years. You have probably heard of an ACV detox drink, but we want to share a few other uses, including one that's especially helpful in the summer months!
1. Drink up
Mix 1 1/2 cups of water, 3 tsp ACV, a dash of cayenne (omit if you don't like spice), the juice from one or two lemons and a sweetener of choice. Stevia and honey are both great options! Drinking this combo in the morning or at night has proven to do wonders for digestion and weight loss.
2. Face Wash
ACV can help tighten your skin, reduce acne breakouts and acts as a natural toner! Combine one part ACV with two parts water and apply to skin using a cotton swab or washcloth.

4. Clean your produce
Giving your favorite fruits and vegetables an ACV bath before eating keeps away dirt and pesticides that water alone doesn't remove. Combine four tablespoons of ACV with one tablespoon of water for the perfect produce washing blend.
5. Sunburn relief
We don't mean to get sunburnt, we really don't. But with all of the weekends at the beach or the lake, it happens. Thankfully ACV can be mixed with your bath water to create a skin relieving soak! Finish your soak by moisturizing with coconut oil to maximize relief!
