Along with being an active member of the community, Staci stays active here at the studio pushing herself to finish the challenges and creating the delicious recipes we've provided. We're so excited to spotlight you this month Staci!
- Whats a New Years resolution you have always wanted to accomplish?
I think everyone probably has a New Years resolution of exercising more and making healthier choices. That was true for me too! I would try something for a week or two but nothing ever stuck. After the first True 40 class I came to in January I remember thinking how great it was and how I couldn't wait to come back the next day. 6 months later, I still feel the same way. I love having True 40 in my weekly routine and it has shown me that exercising can be fun!
- What are your favorite and least favorite parts of your workout?
Lately I have loved anything with the weights. It is a great add-on to my workout and always gives me an added challenge. My least favorite have been power plie squats. They are so beneficial but get me every time!
- If you could go anywhere for a vacation, where would you go?
I love going anywhere new but my dream would be Italy. I want to go eat all the good food!
- What is the best health/fitness advice you’ve ever received?
Every day is a fresh start. You can chose to learn, grow, and strengthen yourself everyday. You can make positive changes in your life just by putting your best foot forward each day.
- Who is your biggest advocate?
My Dad. When I am leaving the afternoon class he is usually leaving work. We get to talk on our 10 minute ride home and he has said many times how he is glad that I have found something that I enjoy going to.
- What does community mean to you?
Community to me is having people around that care about others. I love being involved and giving back to the Auburn community and surrounding areas. It's amazing what can happen when you have a group of people with a common focus working toward one goal.
- Lastly, How do you stay true to you?
Always believe in yourself. Over last few years I've realized I am capable of doing things I was scared or nervous about doing before. You are always stronger than you think you are!
Thanks again Staci for being a part of our studio. We love having you in the True40 family! Keep up the hard work and always be true to you!
